Sweet treats appliqués – crochet patterns
Thanks for checking out my sweet treats appliqué crochet pattern bundle. As you may know I have spent the last few weeks designing and crocheting appliqués for a granny square blanket for my daughter. These patterns will all be gradually released over the next few weeks so check back soon to keep up with the newest releases.
The sweet treats appliqué crochet pattern bundle includes a cupcake, a lollipop, popcorn and a cone of ice cream. The appliqués are various sizes up to 10cm. They can be sewn onto almost any crochet project to create a sweet treat theme.
How they’re made
To make the sweet treat appliqués I used DK (weight 3) yarn in various colours. Each appliqué uses very little yarn so it’s a great project to use up scraps. The crochet patterns are easy skill levels and work up quite quickly. Along with knowing all your basic crochet stitches you will need to know how to make the popcorn stitch. You’ll also need to know how to work into front and back loops as well as simple increases/decreases. The pattern requires very basic sewing and tapestry skills.
