Super bulky Christmas stocking crochet pattern

The large Christmas stocking is made using super bulky yarn. It has a beautiful texture made using the mini bean stitch. It’s a large stocking and looks super modern and classy.

How it’s made

The Super bulky Christmas stocking is intermediate skill level. It works up really fast, in one piece, with no sewing, and with just one skein! You will need to know all your basic crochet stitches to complete the pattern as well as the mini bean stitch (instructions included). To make the stocking I used super bulky/chunky (weight).

Pattern notes

  • I do not count chains or slip stitches in my stitch count. Numbers in brackets are the number of stitches in the row.
  • Ensure you make your finishing slip stitch into the stitch, and not the chain to avoid gaps.
  • Stitches separated with a comma are to be made in separate spaces. eg. (sc,dc) would mean sc in the first stich, dc in the second stitch. eg. (2hdc, hdc x 2) would mean 2hdc in the first stitch, 1hdc in the second stitch, 1hdc in the third stich.
