Summer is on its way and it got me inspired to create a little sunflower applique crochet pattern. I’m looking forward to sewing them onto some projects this year.

Little sunflower appliqué crochet pattern
These little crochet sunflower appliqués are perfect to get you in the mood for summer. They’re a great stash buster too! The little petals pop out giving the appliqué a 3D effect.
How it’s made
The little sunflower appliqué is a fast, beginner friendly crochet pattern. The appliques use a small amount of yarn so they’re great to use up scraps. To make the appliqué I used DK/Light Worsted yarn and a 4mm crochet hook. But, you could try out different yarn weights with the recommended hook for different sized motifs.
