dc – Double crochet

sc – Single crochet

Gauge / Tension

Not applicable for this tutorial due to yarn variations. I recommending making a small swatch of the lemon peel stitch and measuring the size before beginning a large project.

Pattern notes

Stitches separated with a comma are to be made in separate spaces eg. (sc, dc) would mean sc in first stitch then dc in next stitch.

Row 1
  • ch multiples of 2 for desired length
  • ch 1 more then start in 2nd ch from the hook
  • sc in ch, dc in next ch: repeat to end
  • ch & turn
Row 2
  • sc in dc, dc in sc: repeat to end
  • ch & turn

Row 3 +

  • Repeat row 2 until you reach desired size
  • Fasten off & weave in ends.
