Dinosaur Dolls Onesie

Dinosaur dolls onesie crochet pattern

Dinosaur dolls onesie crochet pattern

Thanks for checking out my Dinosaur dolls onesie crochet pattern. This cute little dolls outfit is the latest edition to my 14″ dolls clothing collection. My daughter has a set of 2 baby dolls, her twins that she has named Jenny and James. Even though baby James looked totally adorable in his twin sisters girly little outfits, I think he looks much better in his own Dinosaur onesie.

Dinosaur dolls onesie description

The Dinosaur dolls onesie is made using basic crochet stitches. Namely, the single crochet and half double crochet. Please be aware this outfit is designed to fit 14″ baby dolls, be sure to measure your doll while comparing to the size guide further down this page. The onesie features a spiked hood and easily fastens up the front with two buttons.

How it’s made

The Dinosaur dolls onesie crochet pattern is easy skill level. You will need to know your basic crochet stiches to complete the pattern. The onesie is made in one piece and the spikes are made separately and sewn on at the end. To make the dinosaur onesie I used DK (weight 3) yarn. I also used a 4mm crochet hook but you may need to adjust your hook after completing your gauge swatch to ensure a good fit. The Dinosaur dolls onesie uses approximately 85g (239m/263yd) of yarn. You’ll also need two 15mm buttons.

Pattern notes

I do not count chains or finishing slip stitches in my stitch count. Numbers in brackets are the number of rows/stitches.

I chose to change colours while completing the last stitch on the previous row. You can use this method, or your preferred colour changing method.
